Become a member of Sincil Community Land Trust!

Updated: Sep 26, 2022

Sincil Community Land Trust are currently looking for more members to assist with their work and to bring fresh energy and ideas to the table as the group moves forward to achieve the principal aim, the regeneration of housing on Sincil Bank.

Sincil Community Land Trust is a small community-based partnership aiming to bring empty homes in the Sincil Bank area of Lincoln back into use to provide good quality affordable housing for local people.

Sincil Community Land Trust formed in 2018 and was registered with the Financial Services Authority in 2019 under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014.

A Community Land Trust (CLT) is a society that is set up to further the social, economic and environmental interests of the community by helping regenerate areas of social and economic deprivation. As organisations they are non-profit making by law, have an agreed set of rules by which they must abide and are run by a board elected by share-holding members. Any residents of the designated area can be members, along with those with local connections through work or other activities.

Anyone who wishes to apply for membership will need to complete a short application form and purchase a £1 share. This will enable them to become a voting member for Sincil Community Land Trust. Members can then stand for board membership if they wish.

If you feel you can give your time to Sincil Community Land Trust, then please contact chairman Chris Williams at crw197@gmail.com or other members of the CLT known to you.

If anybody joins does it get rid of the FORCED residents parking SCAM that nobody knows anything about?

What about just making all these community bits's of land into free car parking to counteract the FORCED residents parking
