Place Based Social Action is a project in Sincil Bank area, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS). Sincil Bank neighbourhood is one of ten areas nationally to receive the funding and enter the second phase of the project, which will end in March 2022.

Lincoln City Foundation is the lead organisation of the three-year project which focuses on enabling local people to drive changes in their neighbourhood and work together with other partners to create a shared vision for their community.

The PBSA plan for the Sincil Bank neighbourhood was developed in the first phase of the project, which commenced in March 2018 and was completed in March 2019. This was based on feedback gathered from residents and the local community over several years by the Community Organising team and partner organisations.
